The bank is undergoing a re-organisation of its operation and business focus and now seeking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced persons for executive positions to be based at its head office in Suva. The bank has developed new business units and requires dynamic team leaders to lead the various units. As the bank continues to enhance its developmental role, it has also realised the need to focus on the commercial development needs of its customers, focusing closely on financial risks.

General Manager Finance
Reports directly to the Chief executive Officer in planning and directing the Bank�s funding and financial management processes, policy and business development functions. This involves developing strategies for and sourcing funds to meet its objectives, monitoring the disbursement and control of those funds and ensuring that the cash flow is sufficient to meet all the Bank�s needs
While the primary focus is on the Bank�s long-term efficiencies, funding and support systems, the incumbent also regularly reviews the Bank�s operating position, initiating reviews where budgetary targets are not being achieved and provides significant financial advice to the Bank�s Senior Managers.
General Manager Corporate
The position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer in planning, direct, co-ordinates and monitors the Bank�s Corporate Lending to achieve the Bank�s lending objectives consistent with prudent risk management criteria, minimise Bank lending debts, and to provide quality service to the Bank�s Corporate customers.
The position is accountable for all day-to-day operations and for ensuring a long term approach is also taken in relation to systems, procedures and lending policies. Equally important are the control, direction, motivation and development of the staff, which has been the most demanding area in recent time due to the high turnover that has occurred
The General Manager Corporate shall be responsible for the profitable management of the Bank�s Corporate loan portfolio, directing the activities through Bank�s Regional and Branch Corporate offices.
General Manager Agriculture & Developmental Finance
The position shall be responsible for the profitable management of the Agricultural Loan and Developmental loan portfolio. Plans, directs, co-ordinates and monitors the Bank�s Agricultural Lending and all Government financial assistance channelled through the Bank to achieve the Bank�s lending objectives consistent with prudent risk management criteria, minimise Bank lending debts, and to provide quality service to the Bank�s customers.
The Developmental Financing involves facilitating and stimulate the promotion and development of natural resources, transportation and other industries and enterprises in Fiji, and in the discharge of these functions shall give special consideration and priority to the economic development of the rural and agricultural sectors of the economy of Fiji.
General Manager Human Resources
Reports to the CEO. The Human Resources Department is one of the Head Office support units that serve to support the business units in their efforts towards achieving the Banks objectives.
The role of the General Manager, Human Resources is to lead the Human Resource team in both the operational and strategic development initiatives that underpin the Banks management and development of its core resource, its people.
General Manager Business and Risk Services
Reports to the CEO. The Business & Risk Services Division is responsible for the management of all lending staff within the FDB in their roles relating to credit origination, ongoing management and asset rehabilitation and recover Both of which are supported by the Business & Risk Services Division of the FDB.
The role of the General Manager, Business & Risk Services is to lead the risk management effort of both the Corporate Business Risk Managers, and the Agricultural & Developmental Finance Risk Managers within the FDB.
The General Manager Business & Risk Services is also responsible for the leadership of the FDBs Asset Management Team and Head Office Risk Support Team encompassing Credit Risk Audit, Lending Training, Portfolio Management and Policy & Process
Qualification
� Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, commerce or banking
with 5 years of proven experience at strategic level in a financial or
credit environment. Commercial and Development banking
experience is an advantage.
� Strong analytical skills through experience in forecasting and
planning.
� Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
� Effective coaching and leadership skills
� Computer Literacy.
